New Mexico Water Project
Director: Consuelo ‘Conci’ Bokum
New Mexico is an arid state facing population growth, drought, increasing temperatures and climate change. 1000 Friends’ Water Project is working to fundamentally change the ways water is managed and allocated so that water management is based on the public welfare of the state and the long-term protection of a scarce natural resource.
